Job Description Accounting Officer I (Various Posts) (TEST_ _2) Reference No. TEST_ _2 Rank Accounting Officer I Finance Divisions Finance Divisions of Hospital Authority Head Office and Clusters Pay HK$57,842 to HK$83,424 per month (including Monthly Allowance) HGPS Point 24 to 25 and then HMPS Point 1 to 7 Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance. Job Support the development of policy and responsible for the operations of different functional areas of the Finance Division at corporate, cluster or hospital level. These areas include but are not limited to the following: Government subvention and reporting Budget planning and financial management Financial accounting and operations Revenue management Service costing Financial control, services and support Treasury and risk management The typical duties may include: Supervise the day-to-day operations of a wide range of financial services, such as financial accounting, financial management, payroll and payment operations, revenue management, service costing, budget planning and monitoring, treasury management, financial control, inspection etc. Assist in development and enhancement of financial systems. Manage the preparation of financial analysis, projection, management and performance reports. Supervise the conduct of data collection and information analysis. Monitor the compliance of relevant regulations, policies and guidelines and update the policies, guidelines and manuals to meet operation needs. Any other duties as assigned by his/her supervisors. Selected candidates will be subject to central posting. Requirements Possession of professional accounting qualification of a recognised professional accounting body (see Remark 1). Possession of 5 years of experience in relevant functions, preferably with 2 years of post-qualification experience. Proficiency in computing / PC skills, e.g. Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word. Good command of written and spoken English. Strong analytical ability, good interpersonal skill; ability to organise work and supervise staff in a busy working environment. Have exposures in different financial areas, such as treasury management, budgeting and financial performance management, costing and business analytics, financial accounting and control, financial planning and projection, payment, payroll, revenue management etc. Please submit application online on or before 30 September 2025 .
