Job Overview As a Senior UX/UI Designer, you will be responsible for creative digital design, prototyping and interactive experiences across web and mobile application projects. You will work with an energetic team mentoring junior designers to deliver world‑class products. Roles and Responsibilities Cross‑team collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver beautiful end‑to‑end user experiences across multiple platforms including websites, apps, and other touch‑points. Lead user research including contextual interviews, usability testing and A/B tests. Analyze results and present findings to stakeholders and partners. Define and deliver user requirements specifications, personas, storyboards, scenarios, user flow diagrams, wireframes, design prototypes and design specifications. Define and deliver interaction design building on existing UI patterns and visual design language. Take ownership and refine UX and UI pattern libraries and design guidelines for designers and vendors to consume. Drive Cathay Pacific quality standards, process, schedule and deliverables. Lead the conversation with development and business teams through all stages of design and development, pushing the best practices of design. Mentor junior designers to grow within the business. Collaborate, create, and help the design team deliver. Skills and Competencies 8+ years of related work experience. Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human‑Computer Interaction (HCI) or equivalent experience. Proficiency in design and prototyping tools including Figma, Sketch and Adobe design tools. Experience conducting or leading user research. A firm understanding of the development process and how design decisions affect development. Experience working in small, multi‑disciplined collaborative teams. Ability to work independently, prioritize and solve problems proactively. Ability to motivate your team and mentor junior designers. Essential A strong portfolio that demonstrates design motivations, design thinking process and ability to turn ideas into a strong and unique creative solution. Excellent communication and presentation skills; fluent in English, Cantonese and Chinese is a definite plus. Preferred Experience working in the airline domain.
