First Initiative Foundation (FIF) is seeking an enthusiastic native English Communications Officer (content writer / copywriter) who is responsible for crafting compelling, clear and engaging content that aligns with the Company’s communication strategy. This role involves writing, editing and proofreading materials for various platforms including websites, social media, and marketing campaigns. The Officer ensures consistent messaging and tone across all communication channels to enhance brand visibility and audience engagement. What will you do: Creative thinking and storytelling ability to develop creative English writing for engaging different audience, especially to customize the contents including but not limited to emails, invitations, interview scripts, speeches, press release, pitching decks and printed materials, e.g. brochures for a specific target audience. Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and translate it into engaging content in various online channels, including but not limited to websites, social media, newsletters, blogs and videos. Proofread, edit and research content that is received from both internal and external parties. Ensure smooth communication with external parties, e.g. press and media coordination, and liaisons with PRs, etc. Perform ad-hoc tasks as & when required. What you should have: Degree holder in Journalism, Marketing, Communications or PR related discipline. Minimum 1-2 years of solid experience in corporate communications / multi-channel copywriting. Proven experience as a content writer, copywriting or communication officer, e.g. portfolio or previous work examples is a must. Attention to details, excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills. Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines. Proactive, result driven and motivated, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Good team collaboration and interpersonal skills. Strong Microsoft Office skills, comfortable with Gmail. Experience in digital media and content marketing is an advantage. Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior Communications Officer. Immediate available is highly preferred.
