Assistant Manager, Finance

Responsibilities Assist the Manager, Finance in preparing the group financial reporting and consolidation for WKCDA and its subsidiaries Prepare financial and management reports and analysis on a timely and accurate basis with illuminating and succinct commentaries Consolidate, reconcile and validate financial information from multiple sources to develop financial forecasts, business and corporate plans, control and analysis to ensure the business activities are conducted in accordance with budget parameters, cost guidelines, reporting principles and with good governance Streamline work processes on reporting and institute control procedures to ensure effective, efficient and timely reporting Assist the Manager, Finance in compiling the fixed assets register and oversee the bookkeeping of fixed assets in the ERP and internal control of fixed asset management Support the Head, Financial Reporting and Manager, Finance in projects of new system implementation, system enhancement and development, integration of financial information needs across the business unit, implementation of automation initiatives and digitisation transformation, driving continuous improvement in financial reporting and analysis as well as systems and processes Perform any other duties from time to time as reasonably assigned by the Authority Qualifications Recognised university degree with professional qualifications in Finance, Accounting or relevant discipline Membership of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants or equivalent (a plus) At least 5–7 years of relevant experience in finance, auditing or accounting, preferably gained in a multinational or large organisation Good understanding of and familiarity with the public sector in Hong Kong (a plus) Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills, sound judgment and strong ethics with impeccable integrity Good knowledge in ERP systems, financial modelling, business controls and management reporting Project leadership experience in system implementation, process automation, digital transformation, system maintenance or enhancement, system testing and end‑user training support (a plus) Good business acumen with strong analytical skills and critical thinking mindset Detail‑oriented with the ability to think creatively and out of the box Team spirit and strong financial advisory capability Ability to engage and communicate with multiple stakeholders Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Chinese Application For interested parties, please submit your application with a detailed CV on or before 19‑12‑2025 .
