Contract Officer – Risk Management Overview Join a reputable banking institution as a Contract Officer in the Risk Management Planning Group. This 12‑month role offers valuable exposure to a broad spectrum of risk functions—including Operational, Credit, and Market & Liquidity Risk—within a dynamic Hong Kong Branch environment. It is an excellent opportunity for a detail‑oriented professional to support critical internal controls and compliance activities. Key Responsibilities Execute routine internal control inspections to detect irregularities, ensuring findings are well‑documented and rectification measures are coordinated effectively. Provide operational support to Front Office and Risk teams, including the management and verification of voice recording logs. Assist in maintaining system security protocols by conducting daily checks, preparing user access, and performing monthly ID verifications. Oversee the inventory and records of sensitive assets such as SWIFT tokens, mobile storage media, and corporate devices, including semi‑annual operational reviews. Produce daily market analysis summaries to inform decision‑making for Market & Liquidity Risk and Front Office stakeholders. Prepare periodic risk reports for management committees and handle ad‑hoc reporting tasks as required. Requirements HKDSE holder or University graduate; motivated candidates with less experience will also be considered. Approximately 1 year of experience in financial services, preferably within middle or back‑office functions; exposure to operational risk is an advantage. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Strong command of written and spoken in both Cantonese and English. Basic understanding of corporate banking products, treasury operations, or trade finance is a plus. A self‑starter with high integrity, keen attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a fast‑paced work environment. Capable of working independently on routine tasks while knowing when to seek guidance on complex matters.
