Senior Talent Acquisition Manager – The Bank of East Asia (BEA) Position Summary: The incumbent will provide strategic advice and support to designated client portfolios on workforce planning, organizational restructures, performance/talent management, succession planning and other people agenda, focusing on the Personal Banking/ Retail Banking business units. The ideal candidate will add value to overall business objectives, deliver HR solutions, resolve personnel grievances, retain a talented workforce, and ensure compliance with regulations and core HR processes are applied appropriately. Responsibilities Work with client portfolios to identify manpower needs and develop the right people strategy; actively monitor and achieve cost and headcount targets. Build and maintain strong business relationships with internal clients and stakeholders. Respond to employees’ enquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner. Review and implement all HR related policies, procedures, and structures. Streamline workflow and maintain consistency in practices through cross‑team knowledge sharing and alignment. Work collaboratively with various stakeholders (HR and non‑HR) to achieve business and people objectives. Provide support to client portfolios by advising on people management agenda, team structures, and people solutions to improve business performance, efficiencies, and staff engagement. Comply with all applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines and standards set by regulators and the Bank, and carry out duties with high integrity. Adhere to all established risk control guidelines, procedures and measures to identify, assess, report, mitigate and monitor risks involved in day‑to‑day work. Participate in ad hoc HR projects as required. Requirements Bachelor degree holder, preferably in Human Resources Management or related discipline. Minimum of 5–8 years of HR generalist experience within the financial industry, with preference in retail banking / personal banking. Knowledge of the Employment Ordinance and related employment legislation & regulations. Strong analytical, stakeholder management and communication skills. A team player with high self‑motivation; well organized and result‑oriented. *Candidates with more experience can be considered for Senior Human Resources Business Partner.
