About the Role Assist the team in creating, uploading and testing educational content for the various schools we support. Act as an online English tutor for one‑on‑one sessions when needed. Work in a hybrid office and remote arrangement. Responsibilities Create engaging teaching materials for IGCSE, IB, and HKEDB English curricula. Support the team in setting up best practices for creating relevant English content. Assist in building out each curriculum level’s learning outcome and teaching framework. Collaborate with technology and wider team to enhance our system for students in English. Deliver on ad‑hoc and administrative assignments that support our pedagogical initiatives. Lead engaging 1‑on‑1 English sessions with students using MeeOpp’s curriculum and platform. Review students’ work and provide tailored, actionable feedback to strengthen speaking and communication skills. Prepare for each session by reviewing teaching notes, guidelines, and student progress insights. Foster a supportive and welcoming environment where students feel confident to speak, ask questions, and share ideas. Requirements Experience with HK local school or international school curriculum (e.g. IB, IGCSE). 1–2 years of experience teaching English to young learners, especially EAL students in one‑on‑one or small‑group settings. Strong writing and communication skills. Native or near‑native fluency in English. Bachelor’s in English, Education, or a PGDE/PGCE in English. TEFL, TESOL, TESL, CELTA, or DELTA certification (preferred). SCRC or police check. Flexibility to work weekends for the online tutor role – compensated with early leave during the work week. Person Specification Patient, empathetic, and adaptable. Strong time management and communication skills. Can‑do attitude and flexible. Creative, takes ownership of initiatives and highly organized.
