About this Position: This position will supporting the investment team on Alternative Investment portfolio, with primary focus on Private Credit and secondary focus on Real Estate/Infrastructure/Private Equity). Job Responsibilities: Pre-Investment Analysis Assist in pre-investment analysis & due diligence on funds and managers with a primary focus on all sub-asset classes within private credit (i.e. corporate direct lending, real estate credit, asset-based finance, specialty finance, infrastructure credit, private credit collateralized loan obligations, synthetic risk transfer), and a secondary focus on real estate/ infrastructure/ private equity. Cover private investment opportunities globally in developed markets (i.e. North America, Western Europe, Asia Pacific). Assist in handling Request-For-Proposal for commingled funds and/ or separately managed accounts to facilitate investment decision making. Research & Investment Recommendations Conduct fundamental & market research analysis across different sub-asset classes within private credit/ real estate/ infrastructure/ private equity in multiple markets & jurisdictions. Analyze and justify the illiquidity premium and complexity premium between public assets and private assets (e.g. corporate bonds/ broadly syndicated leveraged loans vs. corporate direct lending; asset backed securities vs. asset bases finance, etc.). Prepare investment proposals for Investment Committee and Board approval. Investment Execution Assist in negotiating legal terms and reviewing documentation with in-house and external legal counsel, and coordinate investment-related compliance matters with the compliance team. Work closely with the finance team to handle investment-related finance matters. Assist with investment on-boarding matters. Assist in performance tracking and evaluation of alternative investments portfolio metrics. Devise & execute performance benchmarking for the alternative investments portfolio. Facilitate streamlining portfolio management process for reporting purposes. Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for Senior Management/ Executive Committee/ Board. Ad-hoc Responsibilities Handle other ad-hoc projects. Job Requirements: University degree or above; CFA or CAIA Charter holder or candidate is preferred. Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience with knowledge in private credit and/ or other alternative investments is preferred. Strong research and analytical capabilities. Strong PC skills in Bloomberg, Preqin, Microsoft Office Word & Excel; knowledge in Macros/ VBA is preferred. Strong interest to develop your career in alternative investments, and willingness to assume additional responsibilities. Highly organized, able to prioritize different tasks, and deliver within tight timeframes. Good interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities. Proactive team player with a collaborative mindset.
