Welcome to visit our LinkedIn for more: METRO Sourcing International Limited Role Purpose Our Food Quality team implements solutions for both processes and products that meet customer requirements while ensuring compliance with international regulations and company policies. Supporting the entire product lifecycle, the team plays a critical role in maintaining high standards from development through to delivery. Responsibilities Lead packaging development from concept to launch, including preparing specifications, proofreading drafts, aligning with stakeholders, and conducting pre‑print checks. Review product labels, instructions, and packaging materials to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Manage the packaging workflow to ensure timely and efficient development. Maintain and update the artwork database and packaging specifications. Validate packaging‑related claims and certifications for accuracy and compliance. Collaborate closely with the quality team, commercial team, and external stakeholders to deliver effective packaging designs and solutions. Take on additional assignments as needed from line manager to address business needs. Talent That We Are Looking For Take ownership and able to work independently with confidence. Experience, Knowledge And Skills Required Higher Diploma / Degree holder in Food Science, Food and Nutrition or related disciplines. At least 5 years experience in food regulatory compliance, quality assurance, or label and packaging development. Experience in packaging development and printing process is preferred. Knowledge of Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS) and EU labeling requirements is an advantage. Proficient in both spoken and written English and Mandarin. Role availability is subject to the candidate's seniority and qualifications. Candidates with more experience and demonstrated leadership capabilities may be considered for senior‑level role.
