Asia DCM Operation Manager (Transactional Banking/Corporate Trust) Location: Hong Kong Department: Debt Capital Markets (DCM) Team Reporting to: Head of DCM Asia Position Summary: We are looking for a confident, experienced, and self-motivated professional to join our expanding DCM team in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will manage the full lifecycle of debt capital markets transactions (new bond issuances, restructurings, MCB issuances/conversions, and liability management exercises) from an operational and trustee/agency perspective, acting as the primary point of contact for issuers, law firms, and other counterparties. Supported by colleagues across Hong Kong, London, and New York, you will also mentor junior team members as the team continues to grow. Key Responsibilities: Onboard new DCM transactions and manage them through to closing and post-closing. Review and negotiate transaction documentation from an operational and commercial perspective. Serve as the main liaison with clients, law firms, ICSDs, and internal teams across global offices. Input and maintain accurate data in internal systems. Respond promptly to client and creditor queries and provide exceptional client service. Identify, mitigate, and elevate risks in a timely manner. Manage post-closing portfolio: handle creditor queries, chase unpaid amounts, monitor covenant compliance, and assess amendment/waiver requests, breaches, or events of default. Build and maintain strong relationships with external law firms and counterparties to enhance company’ reputation and generate new business. Train, mentor, and develop more junior team members. Organise daily workload to meet strict deadlines while upholding company values and high service standards. Experience and Qualifications: University degree or equivalent. Solid experience in Debt Capital Markets, with strong Corporate Trust background and knowledge of Trustee and Agency roles. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills (written and oral). Fluency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin strongly preferred. Familiarity (or strong willingness to learn) full product and service offering in Asia. Highly organised, proactive, detail-oriented, with a “can do” attitude and strong work ethic. #J-18808-Ljbffr
