The hiring company is seeking a highly organized and proactive Assistant PR Manager to join their team. As an Assistant PR Manager, you will work closely with the PR Manager to develop and implement strategic public relations initiatives that enhance the company's brand image and reputation. You will play a crucial role in managing media relations, drafting press releases, organizing events, and monitoring public sentiment. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, has excellent writing skills, and thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Responsibilities Public Relations Strategy Assist in developing and implementing comprehensive PR strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Conduct research and stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and media landscape changes. Collaborate with the PR Manager to plan and execute PR campaigns and initiatives. Monitor public sentiment and identify potential risks or opportunities for the company's reputation. Media Relations Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media contacts, journalists, and influencers. Draft press releases, media kits, and other PR materials in coordination with the PR Manager. Pitch stories and secure media coverage across various platformsprint, broadcast, online) to promote the company and its initiatives. Coordinate and facilitate media interviews, press conferences, and other media-related events. Content Creation Assist in creating engaging and impactful content for press releases, articles, speeches, and other PR collateral. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather information and insights for content development. Ensure all content adheres to the company's brand voice, messaging, and style guidelines. Proofread and edit PR materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency. Event Management Support the planning and execution of PR events, including product launches, press conferences, and media tours. Coordinate logistics, such as venue selection, invitations, audiovisual equipment, and catering. Assist in managing media attendance, interviews, and on-site media relations during events. Evaluate the success of events and provide recommendations for future improvements. Crisis Management Assist in managing and responding to PR crises or issues in a timely and effective manner. Monitor and address negative publicity or misinformation on social media platforms and other channels. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or a related field. 3 years’ work experience in public relations or solid knowledge in Web3 and crypto. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin). Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities. Proficiency in crafting compelling press releases and other PR materials. Knowledge of social media platforms and their role in PR strategies. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality work. Familiarity with crisis communication and issues management is a plus.
