Assistant Analyst (Trading Assistant) – Cross-border Equity Department Assist trader with pre‑and‑post‑trade processes, including trade booking, confirmation, and reconciliation. Monitor and manage trade lifecycle events for derivatives products such as options, swaps, futures, structured products as well as expirations, assignments, and corporate actions. Work closely with counterparties such as clients, external counterpart, middle office and back office to resolve any trade breaks or settlement issues in a timely manner. Update and maintain accurate and up‑to‑date position and P&L reports. Perform data analysis and generate daily, weekly, and ad‑hoc reports for the desk. Desk Management & Strategy Support Develop a deep understanding of the desk’s products and risk management framework. Participate in ad‑hoc projects and take ownership to develop scripts/programs to improve and automate desk processes and workflows. Job Requirements Bachelor degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent with experience in equities trading domain is a plus. Strong foundational knowledge of equity derivatives (options, futures, swaps) and the underlying concepts of pricing and risk. Exceptional numerical and analytical skills with a high level of attention to details. Proficiency in programming/scripting such as Python, VBA, SQL for automation and data analysis. Ability to thrive in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin. #J-18808-Ljbffr
