Principal / Senior Engineer, IC Design / Field Application About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Principal or Senior IC Design / Field Application / Verification Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in IC pre- and post-silicon verification, test automation, and layout support, with a strong background in mixed-signal or SoC development. You will play a key role in chip-level design verification, test automation development, and cross-functional collaboration across hardware, software, and EMC/ESD disciplines. Job Duties Perform IC pre- and post-silicon verification. Develop and maintain test automation tools and frameworks. Support IC layout, ESD/EMC validation, and PCB-level testing. Prepare technical reports and documentation for internal reviews and customer evaluations. Conduct failure analysis, review test results, and drive continuous improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, layout, test, and applications). Provide technical support to customers and FAEs on product testing and EMC/EMI-related issues. Manage and lead technical projects. Job Requirements Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline. Over 15 years of experience in IC design, verification, or applications engineering. Solid understanding of power ICs, RISC-V, USB-C, MCU, RF, analog/digital IC, or SoC systems. Experience with FPGA-based emulation platforms and test automation scripting. Familiarity with layout tools (e.g., Cadence), DRC/LVS verification, and ESD/Latch-up design rules. Hands-on experience in EMC/EMI testing, USB compliance, or ISO auditing is an advantage. Strong analytical and troubleshooting ability; self-motivated and detail-oriented.
