About Us: We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Director to join our team and lead our commercial operations, particularly in the health sector and hospital projects. Position Overview: We are looking for a Commercial Director with a minimum of 15 years of experience in the construction industry, including at least 10 years in a managerial role leading a team. The ideal candidate will be a charter member of HKIS and possess substantial experience in a main contractor environment. Exposure to health sector projects, especially hospital construction, will be considered an advantage. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a sizable commercial team, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery. Develop and implement commercial strategies to optimize project profitability. Prepare and oversee project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to negotiate terms and secure favorable agreements. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and manage any claims or disputes effectively. Monitor market trends and provide insights to the management team for strategic decision-making. Qualifications Minimum of 15 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 10 years in a managerial role. Proven experience working with a main contractor is essential. Charter member of HKIS is mandatory. Exposure to health sector or hospital projects is highly desirable. Strong negotiation, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in both written and spoken Cantonese, Mandarin and English is a must.
