Teaching Assistant at Secondary School - Data Analytics Add expected salary to your profile for insights We’re Hiring Part-time Teaching Assistant for Data Analytics Courses in Hong Kong Schools Do you enjoy working with data — and inspiring the next generation to think critically about how data shapes business, science and the world? SEED is looking for teaching assistants to deliver our Applied Data Analytics with Assistive AI program for secondary school students across Hong Kong. Classes are held after 3pm on Thursdays during Jan-May 2026. About the Program and SEED Foundation Targeted for students aged 14-16, the 20-hour introductory course for senior secondary students covers spreadsheets operations, basic data cleaning, simple statistics, charting, a basic Tableau Public dashboard, and a short project. You will assist the Lead Instructor during classes, help students complete spreadsheet, statistics, and visualization tasks, provide guidance on Tableau basics, and keep small groups on track. SEED Foundation is a registered charity organization future proofing our city's youths for the digital-driven economy. Our key sponsors include Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund and Lee Hysan Foundation. What You’ll Do Support Lead Instructor in class; help students with spreadsheets, basic stats, charts, pivot tables, Tableau basics Set up devices/datasets; manage attendance/materials Assist students on their group projects Communicate and engage with students What We’re Looking For Current HK university student in Data/CS/Stats/IS/Business Analytics or related Comfortable with Sheets/Excel (sorting/filtering, SUM/AVERAGE/COUNTIF, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP preferred, pivot tables, charts), and Tableau Basic stats (mean/median/mode, stdev) and data cleaning (duplicates, missing values, date/number formats) Native Cantonese; punctual, patient; enjoys working and talking with teens Details Around 20 teaching hours, plus prep and feedback.
