Curriculum IB, US Common Core Accreditation School Type: K1-12 Day and Boarding Students Enrollment: Approx 600 in total About Job Using a range and balance of teaching strategies Ensuring that the classroom environment is well‑managed, properly ordered and neatly presented Planning which emphasizes connections among curriculum areas and explicitly focuses on trans‑disciplinary skills Developing and executing the preparation, planning and delivery of child‑centered learning activities for the children in the class Evaluating the program collaboratively with teaching partners, and parents and students as appropriate, using agreed flexible systems Involving students, parents and colleagues in the assessment process on a regular basis and as appropriate Communicating regularly and positively with parents via timely meetings, class webs, reports and conferences About You A Bachelor’s Degree or above Experience of curriculum planning and development and significant experience of delivering IB curriculum in your subject. Hold a teacher certificate Be good at communicating with students and stimulate their initiative in learning. Strong sense of responsibility, good communication skills and team work spirit.
