Job Description - VP, Treasures Private Client Investment Counsellor S) Business Function DBS’ Private Banking offers a one-stop, full-service touch-point for total banking requirements and provides the highest level of personalised banking. We have a team of dedicated, experienced investment advisors who identify opportunities in the various asset classes and employ the best strategies and product vehicles to cater to each client’s needs. Coupled with partnerships within the DBS network and with global institutions, we strive to build long-term relationships with our Private Banking clients in Asia by providing them with high quality, timely and extensive wealth management, investment and financial solutions. Responsibilities Provide investment strategy, hedging & trading advisory to private wealth clients and family office on all assets classes such as stocks, fixed income, derivatives & precious metal trading, FX options, notes & structured products based on CIO office strategic view. Lead discussion with client, with focus on effectively delivering multi-asset ideas and maximizing the client’s portfolio performance consistent with the client’s objective and risk profile. Act as a point of contact by offering investment advisory, planning and execution of investment strategies to clients and maximizing the ROA. Assist bankers and assistant RMs to serve sophisticated clients and keep abreast of financial markets latest trend and new products development. Build a highly proactive and long-term relationship with HNW individuals by generating and sustaining revenue growth whilst broadening the client base from private wealth division. Requirements Degree holder in Finance, Business or related disciplines; preferably with Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Minimum 6-10 years of experience in financial institutions specializing in sales and marketing of financial products. Strong knowledge of PB investment products including equities, fixed income, managed solutions, FX and structured products. Qualified to carry out Investment regulated activities. Strong business acumen, able to analyze and interpret business and financial data. Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
