Manager, Sustainable Finance and Transition Origination HSBC Central & Western District, Hong Kong SAR HSBC Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) is a markets‑led, financing‑focused business that provides investment and financial solutions. We are currently seeking a high‑calibre professional to join our team as a Manager, Sustainable Finance and Transition Origination . Responsibilities Support the origination and structuring of sustainable export finance transactions. Coordinate sustainable project finance transactions (execution of sustainable project finance). Assist regional SF&T originators on structuring complex and bespoke financing solutions. Develop innovative, replicable financing solutions to address client needs at scale. Undertake modelling, due diligence, financial and credit analysis of transactions. Engage with internal and external stakeholders as part of the process of transaction origination, structuring and execution. Qualifications Functional knowledge and thorough understanding of the Group and CIB business. Experience in the infrastructure finance market and in structuring and executing sustainable infrastructure financings. Knowledge and experience of sustainability or sustainable finance. Strong business communication and analytical skills, including credit and reputational risk assessment. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner with key stakeholders and senior management. Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to multitask effectively. Experience navigating ambiguity, adapting to changing priorities, working in a dynamic environment and getting things done.
