Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the daily execution and order management of the synthetic swap desk, ensuring efficient market execution and adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Execution of Spot FX / FX Swaps / NDFs for hedging purposes.
  • Work closely with the Equity Finance team on funding and inventory optimization.
  • Work with the sales team to cover clients from a trading perspective, ensuring clients' requests are met.
  • Streamline trading and order management processes and look for deficiencies and improvements; create on-desk tools when needed.
  • Daily trade bookings to ensure all risks and P&L are captured correctly.
  • Weekly analysis of client's trading behavior, market news, and new trading ideas.
  • Work closely with the technology team to build a swap order management system.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Synthetic Swap trading roles in Asian markets.
  • End-to-end knowledge and expertise in Delta One products; ETFs, Equity Swaps, Futures. Equity Finance products knowledge will be beneficial.
  • A deep understanding of the prime brokerage business, client onboarding, trade capture, portfolio margining, risk monitoring, etc.
  • Attention to detail; able to work under stress.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership ability, highly motivated with a positive attitude, ability to multi-task.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, VBA/Python.
  • Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
