Specialist, Complex Hybrid Products Structuring, Global Financial Markets (1-year contract) O) Job Description Business Function As a leader in global financial markets operations, DBS extends a broad range of capabilities in foreign exchange and derivatives, money market and securities trading, to corporations and financial institutions. DBS trades in a comprehensive product range, including foreign exchange, as well as interest rates and derivatives. Global Financial Markets (GFM) provides total solutions to serve DBS clients' hedging and investment needs with a regional emphasis. Responsibilities Provide analytical and operational support to the Trading and Structuring team covering interest rates, FX, equities, credit and structured products Assist with pricing, execution, trade booking and risk monitoring for complex hybrid financial instruments Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for new product development and solutions Collaborate with Legal and Compliance Teams to draft and review documentation for new structured products Address product-related inquiries from sales teams and clients, providing clear explanations and recommendations Requirements Bachelor or Master degree holder in Finance, Financial Mathematics, Financial Engineering or related business discipline with 1 year’s relevant experience Developing analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate complex financial instruments and structures Good quantitative and modeling capabilities to assist with pricing and risk management of structured products Good knowledge of financial markets, products and trading mechanisms Ability to interpret market data, identify trends and provide relevant insightsStrong attention to detail and accuracy to ensure proper trade execution and documentation Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn Good command of written and spoken English; and conversational proficiency in Cantonese and Mandarin Proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel and Powerpoint RI license holder with passes in HKSI Licensing Exam (Paper 1, 7 & 8) or equivalent Apply Now We offer a competitive salary and benefits package and the professional advantages of a dynamic environment that supports your development and recognises your achievements.
