Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager or Senior Manager in Procurement, responsible for leading sourcing activities across both food and non-food categories. This role will focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with local suppliers to ensure consistent quality, reliability, and competitiveness. Responsibilities Develop and implement procurement strategies for food and non-food products to meet operational and commercial objectives. Identify, evaluate, and select vendors, with a primary focus on cultivating robust partnerships with local suppliers. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to maximize value, ensure timely supply, and maintain procurement compliance. Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and initiate continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Store Operations, Merchandising, Logistics, and Finance, to align procurement with business needs. Analyze market trends, product availability, and potential risks affecting supply chain and procurement activities. Prepare and present regular reports on supplier relationships, cost savings, and procurement performance to senior leadership. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or above in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Food Science, or related field. Minimum 7 years’ relevant experience in procurement, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity within retail or FMCG (food and non-food). Proven track record of sourcing and managing local suppliers; strong knowledge of Hong Kong market dynamics is highly advantageous. Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-outlet retail environment. Analytical, detail-oriented, and result-driven.
