Senior Quality Assurance Manager

We are a cosmetics company with a profound history, currently seeking an experienced and highly responsible Senior Quality Assurance Manager. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations (who oversees the General Managers of our two factories), this role will lead quality audits and compliance supervision for both factories. The position is based in Huizhou and serves as the core controller of the company's quality system and the key point of contact for international clients, ensuring that the entire quality control process (with a key focus on GMP compliance), every formula developed, every batch produced, and every finished product delivered strictly adheres to global regulatory requirements and the company's commitment to quality excellence. Key Responsibilities Lead quality control system audits for both factories, focusing on verifying GMP compliance, assessing the completeness and effectiveness of quality control throughout the process for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products, and driving optimization improvements. Organize and lead management reviews for both factories, verify the effectiveness of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and be responsible for approving closure, ensuring root causes of quality issues are resolved. Lead external audit processes for the Quality Management System (QMS) from international clients; act as the primary point of contact for quality audits and international client auditors, coordinating audit preparation, process coordination, and follow-up on corrective actions. Lead root cause analysis, implementation of corrective actions, and review summaries for major quality incidents; also act as the primary contact for international OEM/processing clients, managing quality complaint communication, solution reporting, and follow-up to closure. Continuously monitor global cosmetics industry regulations and technical trends, and proactively update the compliance management systems of our factories to ensure unified quality standards and compliance implementation across factories. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or other related science/engineering fields. Over 10 years of experience in the quality assurance field, including at least 3 years in a core quality management role within the cosmetics/personal care industry. Proficient in international cosmetics Good Manufacturing Practices (e.g., ISO 22716, GMPC, BRC) and FDA regulations, with solid practical experience in GMP compliance auditing and implementation. Proficient in quality tools (e.g., FMEA, SPC, RCA) and data analysis methods; possession of Six Sigma Black Belt/Green Belt certification is preferred. Demonstrated successful experience in leading regulatory audits and fostering a culture of quality excellence; skilled in using root cause analysis tools like 5-Whys and Fishbone Diagrams; strong problem-solving and risk prediction abilities. Possess practical experience in communicating quality issues and handling complaints with international OEM/processing clients, capable of independently leading cross-cultural quality dialogues. Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Mandarin Chinese, English, and Cantonese, enabling effective collaboration within multicultural teams.
