Principal Responsibilities Support people managers and employees in navigating complex people challenges across the spectrum of HR Services with coaching and advice to help resolve the challenges. Handle end‑to‑end review of complaints and employee grievances. Relationship manage and coordinate support for enquiries that touch multiple areas of HR; this may involve coordinating multiple HR specialists to resolve complex people issues. Support complex interpretation of policy and procedures and provide oversight of some complex events that need higher touch handling (e.g., business transformation programme), working with the HR Partners where required. Support the change journey for People managers around a broad range of HR processes. Give support and encourage customer adoption of HR systems and tools. Support understanding of how HR products and services are received to continuously improve the overall workforce experience by using case and knowledge management tools to identify trends in the questions and challenges colleagues have. Identify improvements to make HR services and products (and the supporting policies and processes) even better for the workforce based on data from case and knowledge management tools. Provide the appropriate level of support for senior executives by providing end‑to‑end coordination and quality assurance of queries and transaction resolution. Qualifications Practical experience in one or more of Employee Relations, Performance & Reward, Internal Investigations, HR Business Partner or Learning & Talent Development. Strong analytical, critical thinking, investigative and problem‑solving skills. Ability to understand complex situations and provide clear guidance, and, where necessary, challenge to others. Accurate and detail‑conscious, able to quickly spot errors in data and gaps in information, confidently seeking clarification and explanation. A proactive self‑starter with a “can‑do”, customer‑focused approach who can learn quickly from experience. Good understanding of the principles of employee relations and procedures. Ability to prioritise work under pressure. Understanding of the business environment (within Hang Seng and/or the industry) to ensure that advice and guidance aligns with business aims and goals. Financial Services (or Professional Services) background preferred. Experience of managing the people aspects of change programmes. You’ll achieve more when you join Hang Seng Bank Limited.
