Wine Waiter / Waitress - The Parade (Happy Valley Clubhouse) Add expected salary to your profile for insights Our client "The Hong Kong Jockey Club" is seeking a Wine Waiter / Waitress to join their team Join one of Hong Kong's largest and most diverse catering operations as a Wine Waiter / Waitress at The Parade in Happy Valley Clubhouse. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional service to members and guests in a prestigious environment, while developing your skills in fine dining and hospitality. What you'll be doing? Greet and serve: Welcome members and guests with a positive, upbeat demeanor and build quick rapport to ensure a pleasant dining experience. Menu expertise: Present menus, provide detailed information about dishes, and offer recommendations to enhance the dining experience. Order management: Take accurate food and beverage orders, communicate with kitchen staff, and ensure timely and correct delivery of meals. Service excellence: Maintain high standards of service, ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing any concerns promptly and professionally. Table maintenance: Set and reset tables, ensuring cleanliness and proper presentation throughout service. Team collaboration: Work closely with captains and other staff to maintain smooth operations and deliver quality service. Stock management: Maintain adequate supplies at side stations and assist in daily mise en place preparation. Who are they looking for? 3 years of related experience in hotels, clubs, or restaurants is preferred Candidates with relevant F&B internship experiences (wine service, relevant restaurants etc.) are welcomed to apply. Good Cantonese and English communication skills are essential. Sound understanding of restaurant etiquette and basic knowledge of tableside service, food, and beverages. Patient, friendly, and able to solve problems with a keen attention to detail. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, as required in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Working Hours: 45.5 hours per week, 5 days work week Straight Shift 6:30am / 11:00pm / 12:00pm Split Shift 8:30am - 8:30pm 11:30am – 11:30pm How to apply Ready to join this role?
