Workshop Technician (Based in Dubai, U.A.E.)

As a Workshop Technician , you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance/calibration tasks as required on aircraft components/tools and equipment in accordance with company procedures and regulations. The job holder works as part of a team under the direction and guidance of the assigned supervisor/Engineer within the appropriate trade/cross trade disciplines for which they have been trained.

In this role, you will:

  • Technical Maintenance & Repairs:
    • Perform routine servicing, calibration, modifications, and approved repairs on components and tools following manufacturer procedures and using technical manuals (e.g., AMM, IPC, CMM, SPM, ISO/IEC 17025).
    • Uphold high safety standards by maintaining clean work areas, preventing hazards (such as FOD), and promptly reporting any defects or safety issues to supervisors to ensure smooth shift handovers and reduce operational delays.
    • Assist supervisors and engineers with troubleshooting, defect rectifications, testing, and inspections, while also being prepared to join the Rapid Response Unit (RRU)/AOG team during aircraft incidents and recoveries.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:

  • 5+ years of work experience in Aviation Engineering
  • Graduate (12+2)
  • Apprenticeship in Aircraft Maintenance or equivalent training with a reputable airline or an approved aircraft maintenance organisation or Engineering Aircraft Maintenance License
  • Completed AME Diploma or Bachelors in related field.
