Assistant Vice President - PEMA (Private Equity Mergers & Acquisitions) Marsh – Private Equity and M&A team (“PEMA”); Hong Kong Overview We are seeking a talented individual to join our PEMA (Private Equity Mergers & Acquisitions) team. PEMA is a dedicated global team of risk and insurance advisors focused exclusively on private‑equity and alternative‑investment firms, infrastructure funds and strategic investors. Our main services aim to manage three key risk areas: fund‑level risk, M&A transactional risk, and investment portfolio risk. Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of clients to maintain, strengthen, and expand the client base. Build and maintain a professional network with peers and stakeholders in relevant industries. Prepare and deliver pitches and presentations to prospective and existing clients. Work closely with insurance specialists to perform insurance due diligence for clients and financiers. Collaborate with insurance specialists to structure and deliver insurance solutions for M&A transactions and other client risk scenarios. Ensure all insurance placements comply with applicable regulations, internal policies, and audit requirements. Support the team with other ad hoc projects, analysis, and tasks as required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher. 4–5 years of experience in the M&A field from Big4, financial advisor, or legal field. Strong project‑management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and timelines. Willingness to network and build relationships with clients, advisors, and industry peers. Interest in, and willingness to develop, in‑depth knowledge of the insurance industry. Comfortable presenting and pitching to advisors and clients, both in person and virtually. Ability and commitment to obtain the required insurance certifications for the role. Strong written skills with the ability to draft reports and prepare clear, professional presentation decks. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues from other departments and specialist teams.
