Our corporate bank client is seeking a driven leader to join their Clearing Deposit Team, where you’ll make a significant impact by ensuring smooth, efficient account management and exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Your role will involve: Leading and mentoring the Account Maintenance and Servicing Team (AMS), ensuring top-notch account opening, closing, and maintenance using systems like T24 and SIGN. Overseeing internal account servicing, with a focus on SWIFT statement settings for corporate clients and VOSTRO accounts. Collaborating across teams to review inward clearing cheques and handle checker or processing tasks as needed. Coaching your team on policies and procedures, leading engaging training sessions, including disaster recovery drills. Driving continuous improvement by evaluating team performance, providing feedback, and celebrating successes. Ensuring all processes contribute to exceptional customer service, enhancing client satisfaction and the bank’s reputation. Requirements To thrive in this role, you should: Hold a degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Have at least 5 years of experience in customer account documentation, preferably with 3 years in a checker role. Understand KYC and AML/CFT compliance, staying ahead of regulations. Be familiar with Companies Registry practices for accurate documentation. Demonstrate proven leadership skills, with experience mentoring teams. Show strong analytical skills and attention to detail for process accuracy. Excel in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks effectively. Be proficient in banking software, eager to adopt new technologies. Communicate fluently in Mandarin, English, and Cantonese to build strong stakeholder relationships.
