Group Chief Compliance Officer About the Opportunity: We are a leading global payments and financial technology platform, experiencing rapid growth across international markets. We are seeking an accomplished Senior Director of Compliance to build and lead our global compliance strategy. This is a high-impact role for someone passionate about shaping the compliance framework for a dynamic, innovative business. Key Responsibilities: Global Team Leadership: Recruit, manage, and mentor a distributed team of compliance professionals across multiple international regions. Compliance Framework Development: Develop and implement group-wide compliance policies and anti-money laundering (AML) programs tailored to various licensed entities and business lines. Regulatory Strategy & Interpretation: Determine local compliance strategies based on licensing requirements. Proactively monitor, interpret, and advise on the evolving global regulatory landscape and industry standards. Business Partnership: Serve as a strategic advisor to the business, providing actionable compliance guidance to support product development and market expansion. Organize relevant training and awareness initiatives. Risk Management & Insight: Monitor industry trends and merchant profiles to identify emerging risks. Balance commercial objectives with regulatory requirements, designing compliant pathways for business growth. Team Optimization: Effectively manage team resources, ensuring agility and the capability to handle compliance for both licensed and unlicensed activities. Qualifications & Experience: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, Finance, or a related field. A minimum of 10 years of relevant compliance experience, with a significant portion within the cross-border payments, e-commerce, or FinTech sectors. Proven experience working in an international context and a demonstrated track record of successfully managing cross-border teams. In-depth knowledge of financial services regulations, AML/CTF frameworks, and industry best practices. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of the organization, external regulators, and industry bodies. Full professional proficiency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in Mandarin or other languages is a strong plus.
