Chief Technology Officer (CTO) - AI Digital Human & Agentic AI Location: Hong Kong, or China About the Role We are seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to architect and lead the technological future of our pioneering AI Digital Human & Agentic AI platform. This role is designed for a leader who is passionate about creating lifelike, empathetic, and intelligent digital interactions. You will be responsible for the entire technology stack powering our AI personas—from conversational AI and real-time rendering to scalable cloud infrastructure. As a key member of the executive team, you will translate ambitious product visions into robust, scalable, and secure technical realities, driving innovation at the intersection of AI, machine learning, and human‑computer interaction. Key Responsibilities AI-Centric Technology Vision : Define and execute the company's technical strategy with a core focus on advancing our AI Digital Human & Agentic AI solutions, including natural language processing (NLP), speech synthesis, emotion recognition, and real‑time animation. Technical Leadership in AI/ML : Lead, mentor, and grow a world‑class, multi‑disciplinary engineering organization encompassing AI/ML, Backend, Frontend, DevOps, and QA . Foster a culture of research, experimentation, and rapid iteration. Product-Driven Technical Strategy : Partner closely with the CEO and CPO to align technology development with product roadmaps, ensuring technical feasibility, managing R&D priorities, and leveraging emerging AI advancements for competitive advantage. Platform Architecture & Scalability : Oversee the end-to-end architecture of our platform, ensuring it can deliver low‑latency, high‑fidelity interactions at a global scale. Make critical decisions on AI model training/deployment, real‑time data pipelines, and graphics rendering engines . Innovation & R&D Leadership : Champion the research and integration of cutting‑edge technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs), generative AI, neural voice cloning, and computer vision , to enhance the realism and capabilities of our digital humans. Security & Ethical AI : Establish and enforce rigorous protocols for data privacy, security, and ethical AI development , ensuring user trust and compliance in all our solutions. Qualifications & Experience 10+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, with at least 5 years in an executive or senior leadership role (e.g., CTO, VP of Engineering) in a product‑driven AI/ML company. Proven track record of building and scaling complex, real‑time AI systems, such as conversational AI platforms, virtual assistants, game engines, or computer graphics applications . Deep, hands‑on technical expertise in modern AI/ML stacks (e.g., Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, NLP frameworks, LLM fine‑tuning) and scalable cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS/GCP/Azure, Kubernetes, microservices, WebRTC). Demonstrable experience in building, mentoring, and managing high‑performing, distributed engineering and AI research teams. Strong business and financial acumen, with experience in technology budgeting, strategic planning, and contributing to fundraising or business development. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field; PhD is a plus.
