Job Description Reporting to the Director, Global Technical Services (Electrical and Electronic) based in Germany, you will provide technical expertise on electrical and electronic products in advising clients, business development, operations and client & program management teams on technical needs, industry and market trends, and regulatory compliance consultancy. You will also be the key contributor to provide technical direction for the organization’s future development and to manage and maintain the internal technical know‑how for electrical and electronic products. Qualifications Monitor global regulations and standards updates. Create and maintain technical documents for internal use or for client distribution, including regulatory update newsletters, interpretations and testing protocols for global markets on various electrical and electronic products. Provide consultancy services to assist clients in problem solving or create innovative (out of the box) solutions for clients who are looking for testing solutions beyond the usual standard methods. Represent the organization at technical committee meetings, trade shows, international conferences and as a speaker at external seminars. Support business development, key account management and program management teams in client meetings to understand client needs and convert them into business opportunities. Organise internal training to build up the technical competency of relevant stakeholders. Act as an internal auditor to verify the technical competency of laboratories in different locations. Assist in new test and laboratory development. Manage subcontractor quality and performance. Requirements Degree or above in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent. 5+ years of experience in the Quality Assurance, Compliance or Laboratory Testing field. Optional advantage: Qualified ISO 17025 internal auditor. Good knowledge of international regulations and standards for electrical and electronic products, such as: US market: FCC & UL testing Canada market: ICES & CAS testing EU market: EMC, EMF, RED & product safety testing Australian market: CISPR, EESS & RCM process China market: 3C certification process & SRRC Strong sense of product development and emerging technology for electrical & electronic and smart products. Excellent writing, presentation, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to understand client needs. Resilience in facing difficult and demanding clients. Ability to work well under pressure, learn quickly, take on new assignments, pay close attention to detail and meet tight deadlines. Quality‑mindful with high attention to detail and proven problem‑solving skills. Strong workload assessment, prioritisation, delegation and follow‑up skills. Experience in a purchasing office or manufacturer an advantage. Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese. Creative and innovative thinking. Willingness to travel frequently.
