Solution Analyst – Subsidiaries (ERP Programme focus) (Contract until 31 Aug 2027) Apply to be part of the Solution Centre in our Information Technology (IMT) department at Cathay Pacific. The role reports to the Project Manager and focuses on continuous improvements to provide a seamless experience for customers. As a Solution Analyst, you will translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive the end‑to‑end development of software applications. You will work on systems supporting all business operations of Cathay’s subsidiary bodies, gaining exposure to a wide range of aviation‑related systems. Key Responsibilities Analyse requirements and assess detailed solution options from a system perspective. Support solution design and contribute expertise to ensure high‑level design decisions are delivered. Convert, create, align, trace, and map requirements into functional and technical specifications. Document requirements into functional and technical specifications for software development projects. Support the development of technical specifications. Provide hands‑on technical development and implementation. Review the SI vendor on development and implementation work as required. Oversee and QA the development of all solution components to ensure compliance with Cathay’s standards. Contribute to and follow standards and frameworks for development. Keep abreast of the business strategy, business plan, and latest industrial trends. Requirements Bachelor’s (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines. Minimum of 6 years of IT experience, including at least 3 years in SAP Basis & Infrastructure management (e.g., S4 HANA, SAP BTP). Proven experience with SAP Implementation & Upgrade; other ERP project experience considered. Experience with Agile and Scrum software development methodologies. Good knowledge of various OS & DB administration. Well‑developed analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills, leveraging logic and creativity. Ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Good understanding of technological concepts, trends, and capabilities. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
