Senior Manager, Technology Security and Risk Add expected salary to your profile for insights The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels (owner and operator of The Peninsula Hotels, The Repulse Bay and many high-profile assets globally) is seeking to hire a Senior Manager, Technology Security and Risk to join the Technology Department, based in our Corporate office located in Central, Hong Kong. This role is pivotal in managing organisational information risks, monitoring, preventing and responding to cybersecurity threats, and ensuring compliance with security policies and processes. Work for a prestigious, globally renowned hospitality and luxury property group Exceptional market leading benefits (role is based in Hong Kong) Key Accountabilities Assess the security of existing and new solutions, including third-party systems and recommend necessary changes or enhancement. Investigate security incidents, making decisions and recommendations for corrective actions. Organize vulnerability assessments and penetration tests; drive the remediation of identified risks. Manage cloud security, including architecture and contract reviews for third-party solutions, and evaluate hosting provider security (such as Azure) and email security (including phishing protection). Ensure compliance with data protection regulations, promoting the use of data labelling and classification practices to uphold confidentiality and integrity. Operate SIEM solutions, ensuring proactive monitoring and timely incident response. Develop and establish procedures, processes, policies, and guidelines aligned with company and industry best practices. Identify, configure, and deploy security controls and solutions. Prepare and communicate security risk reports to relevant stakeholders with actionable insights and recommendations. Continuously recommend and implement process improvements, support and promote security awareness programs. General Requirements Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines. 8+ years’ of relevant information security working experience. Sound knowledge of security frameworks and standards, incident response, forensics analysis, vulnerability assessment, identity management and privileged account management (PAM). Familiar with Cloud security (Azure), email security, OS security (Windows, Mac, Linux), Network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, routers, switches, DMZ), Data security (DLP, labelling), scripting (API, Power Automate). A team player, proactive, meticulous, strong project management and analytical skills, ability to influence others. Strong command of written and spoken English.
