In the beginning, Chun Wo mainly undertook building projects for the government and private sector; it started to participate in railway construction and civil engineering projects in the 70s; By the 90s, it became one of the few local contractors to hold five types of registration and qualification to work on public projects. In 2017, Chun Wo secured the “Design and Construction of the Aqueduct” contract in the Philippines, expanding the construction engineering business to overseas markets around the Belt and Road. Responsibilities Responsible for overall site safety matters, implement safety policies / plans. promote safety on sites; and lead the site safety team. Requirements Degree / Higher Diploma holder in OSH or related engineering disciplines; Registered Safety Officer in Labour Department is a must; Registered Safety Auditor in Labour Department is preferred; Professionally qualified under Institution of Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent; 10 years' post-registration site experience in construction field; Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese; Familiar with PC applications, such as Microsoft Office, PowerPoint; Immediate available is preferred.
