Temporary HR Manager Join CIBC as a Temporary HR Manager for a six‑month fixed‑term contract to support the HR record management project and handle ad‑hoc tasks. Business Unit Description We lead the bank’s Global Human Capital Strategy by partnering with the business to unlock the potential of our human capital and deploy it to the areas of greatest impact. Job Overview This role supports the HR record management project, migrating and classifying records from Share Drive to SharePoint while ensuring compliance with CIBC standards. The position is 6‑month fixed‑term. Key Accountabilities Administer the HR record management process, including developing procedural documents and executing required steps. Migrate records from the Share Drive to SharePoint, accurately classifying and labeling each record. Ensure all HR records are properly labeled and stored per CIBC standards and guidelines. Collaborate with CIBC global teams to gather requirements and ensure seamless transfers. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to migration, classification, or labeling. Participate in other ad‑hoc tasks as assigned. Knowledge and Skills At least 8 years of HR experience, preferably in HR project management. Strong knowledge of HR concepts, regional policies and practices. Understanding of HR governance, legislation and CIBC policies. High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Excellent project management skills. Knowledge of human resources operations, principles and procedures sufficient to resolve problems. Ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong interactive and presentation skills to explain complex issues. Complexities and Challenges Operate independently to prioritize and customize policies and programs to meet client needs. Stay current with evolving needs and strategies. Work within a matrix environment, supporting multiple colleagues across a geographic area. Working Conditions Fast‑paced, deadline‑driven office environment requiring focused concentration and detail orientation. May require long, unpredictable hours to meet project commitments.
