About your team The Investment Directing team commercialises Fidelity’s investment capabilities across Equities, Fixed Income, Systematic Investing, and Multi-Asset Solutions. It represents the link between the Investment team and our clients, ensuring that our strategies are clearly articulated, commercially positioned, and aligned with client needs. Our work can be broken down in three categories : Understanding and interpreting client needs: This involves regular engagement with clients, from 1 : 1 to larger groups, understanding of industry trends, what peers are doing and the evolving investment landscape. Delivering solutions to meet those needs: Based on our client needs, we position existing products or design tailored solutions in collaboration with internal departments and our Product Development team. Ensure an exceptional client experience: This encompasses producing high-quality communications, including performance reporting, market updates and thought-leadership pieces, delivered through 1 : 1 meetings, stage presentations, written pieces, video shootings or podcasts. Within this framework, the Fixed Income & Systematic Investing teams manage a broad range of strategies spanning fundamental discretionary and quantitative disciplines. Fixed Income Investment Directing forms part of the Fixed Income Team, which manages in excess of $US100 billion of fixed income portfolios on behalf of institutional, wholesale and retail clients globally. Fidelity Systematic Investing (FSI) brings together our systematic capabilities across Quantitative Research, Equity, Fixed Income and Multi-Asset to deliver solutions to clients, managing around US$20 billion globally. The team combines our fundamental and quantitative research insights within a robust, risk-controlled and cost-aware framework, offering flexibility to design portfolios that balance alpha generation with tailored client outcomes. About your role This position reports to the Head of Investment Directing, Asia Pacific, based in Hong Kong, with a matrix connection to the Investment Director, Systematic. It is designed as a cross-asset specialist position supporting both the Fixed Income and Systematic Investing capabilities across the region. The successful candidate will focus on developing investment content, market analysis, and portfolio narratives that strengthen Fidelity’s client engagement and business development efforts, with potential to grow into an Investment Director with more client-facing elements over time Their main collaborators will include Fixed Income and Systematic Investment Teams, including Investment Directors, Portfolio Managers, Traders, Credit Analysts, Marketing, Product Development, Distribution teams, consultant relations, and India-based Investment Fund Analysts. Core activities Support the Fixed Income and Systematic Investment Directing teams in producing fund and market content, including performance analysis, peer comparisons, presentations, and marketing materials, ensuring message consistency and investment accuracy. Provide input for RFPs / RFIs and other client materials, drawing on capability knowledge, portfolio data and performance and risk attribution. Support business development for the Fixed Income and Systematic capabilities in Asia, including content preparation and coordination with global teams. Partner with Portfolio Managers, Investment Directors, and Distribution teams to deliver timely market and portfolio updates. Contribute to thought-leadership pieces and represent the team at internal forums. Collaborate closely with colleagues across Marketing, Product Development, Consultant Relations, and India-based Investment Fund Analysts. About you Experience and Qualifications Required Strong understanding of investment principles and portfolio theory, with the ability to analyse fund performance and market trends, and to translate investment insights into clear and engaging materials. Familiarity with both Fixed Income and Systematic investment approaches, client segments across institutional and wholesale channels, and awareness of their investment considerations. In-depth technical comprehension of the factors influencing and advantages of various multi-asset strategies and solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both, able to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise and structured manner. Proactive, organised, and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership. Collaborative and team-oriented mindset, comfortable working across global functions. Strong commercial awareness and curiosity about industry trends. Client-centric and service-oriented approach. Competence in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
