Cloud & Infrastructure Operations Engineer - Fresh Grads Welcome We are seeking a motivated Cloud & Infrastructure Operations Engineer (Level 1) to join our high-performing Managed Services Team. This is an excellent role for individuals who are passionate about maintaining the stability and security of blended cloud and traditional data center environments. Your work will focus on major cloud platforms, including Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, Azure, Tencent Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, and Huawei Cloud. Your primary objective will be to ensure all customer environments are always available, performant, and secure by executing proactive monitoring, rapid incident response, and thorough maintenance across both public cloud and core on‑premises Windows and Linux Server infrastructure. This role provides extensive exposure to multi‑cloud platforms and foundational server technologies, which is essential for building a robust career in modern IT infrastructure operations. Responsibilities Provide Level 1 technical support to customers via ticket, email, or phone call, ensuring clear and timely communication. Log and track incidents and service requests in the ticketing system based on the SLA requirements. Monitor and maintain the health and performance of the multi‑cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS, Azure, Tencent, Alibaba, Huawei Cloud) and on‑premises Windows/Linux servers. Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks or availability issues across all infrastructure. Troubleshoot issues related to GCP (as well as AWS, Azure, and Chinese cloud providers) cloud infrastructure, network, WAF services, and security services (Cloudflare, Akamai, etc.). Perform routine maintenance, patching, configuration tasks, and system hardening on Windows Server and Linux Server operating systems. Respond to, investigate, and resolve security alerts and technical incidents efficiently. Collaborate with engineering and development teams to conduct thorough root cause analysis (RCA) and implement long‑term solutions and preventive measures. Conduct on‑site support services as required, including system updates, enhancements, and hardware checks for traditional infrastructure and network equipment. On‑call support and response to critical incidents outside regular working hours. Qualifications Educational Background: Diploma, high‑diploma, or degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Core Infrastructure Skills: Hands‑on or academic knowledge of Windows Server (Active Directory, basic administration) and Linux Server OS, including practical experience with server security hardening. Cloud Fundamentals: Hands‑on or academic exposure implementing public cloud solutions, including GCP, AWS, Azure, Tencent, Alibaba, Huawei Cloud. Relevant Associate‑level certifications are a major plus (e.g., GCP Cloud Digital Leader, Associate Cloud Engineer). Technical Operations Interest: Familiarity with Linux/Bash scripting or PowerShell for operational tasks and troubleshooting; exposure to Docker and basic container management concepts; exposure to monitoring and logging tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, or Splunk; basic understanding of cloud network configurations, virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V), and collaboration tools. Security Knowledge: Solid understanding of cloud security practices, zero‑trust security concepts (IAM, MDM, CASB, SWG, Cloudflare, Okta, etc.), and Web Application Firewall (WAF) functionality. Problem Solving: Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to investigate and resolve complex cloud and server‑related incidents under pressure. Soft Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Growth Mindset: Strong interest in continuous learning and rapidly adapting to new cloud technologies and security practices. Availability: Able to work on standby/on‑call and night shift due to project and critical incident demands. Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
