The Insurance Officer will support the HK-based Insurance Manager in the day-to-day handling of the Group's property and business insurance portfolio (property damage, business interruption, public liability, construction all risks, etc.), with a focus on claims administration, policy management, and broker coordination. A leading property group with an extensive portfolio in across Hong Kong and other regions is seeking a Junior Insurance Officer to join their risk and insurance team in a confidential search. This is an excellent entry-to-mid level role for someone eager to build a solid career in corporate insurance within a large-scale, prestigious organization. Description Assist in managing the full insurance claim cycle for the Group's HK portfolio and oversee claims for multiple regions Liaise daily with insurance brokers on new placements, renewals, claims status, and policy endorsements. Review insurance requirements for new projects (property development, hotel openings, leasing) and ensure coverage is in place. Prepare claim reports, loss runs, and premium allocation schedules for management and finance teams. Maintain accurate insurance records, policy schedules, and documentation in the central system. Support tender exercises and broker selection when required. Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Property Management, Project, Hotel Operations, Legal, Finance) to gather claim information and documentation. Ensure compliance with internal procedures and insurance policy conditions. Perform ad-hoc insurance administration and projects as assigned. Profile Bachelor's degree in any discipline, Holder (or actively studying toward) ACII or ANZIIF professional insurance qualification is strongly preferred. 1-3 years of experience in corporate insurance / claims handling; candidates with experience in property, construction, real estate, or hotel insurance are highly preferred. Prior exposure in a property developer, hotel group, real estate management company, or insurance brokerage (property/liability/construction lines) is a strong advantage. Basic knowledge of property damage, business interruption, public liability, and construction all-risks insurance. Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a plus. Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and data analysis. Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to follow documented procedures. Positive attitude, eager to learn, team player, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
