General Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Education or a Bachelor’s degree in any subject with a Postgraduate Diploma/Certificate in Education (e.g., PGCE/PGDE). Understanding of the PYP and the key underpinnings of curriculum frameworks is advantageous. Newly qualified teachers or teaching experience within a recognised educational institute. Standard competencies and capabilities required to be a primary school teacher at an ESF school. Important note: The iPGCE (assessment only) does not qualify for Teacher Registration status from the Hong Kong Education Bureau.
