Key Responsibilities Lead and support M&A transaction execution from initial pitch through closing, managing multiple workstreams under tight deadlines. Develop and review advanced financial models including DCF, LBO, merger models, and accretion/dilution analysis to evaluate deal feasibility and strategic impact. Perform comprehensive valuation analyses using comparable companies, precedent transactions, and other methodologies to provide actionable insights for clients. Prepare high-quality client presentations and pitch materials in English and Mandarin, ensuring clarity and accuracy for senior executives and stakeholders. Coordinate due diligence processes across financial, legal, and operational areas, liaising with external advisors and managing virtual data rooms. Conduct detailed industry and company research, identify strategic opportunities, and monitor macroeconomic and regulatory developments impacting cross-border deals. Support business development initiatives, including idea generation and preparation of marketing materials to originate new mandates. Mentor junior analysts, review their work for accuracy, and contribute to a collaborative team environment focused on excellence. Qualifications Strong investment banking experience, ideally within an M&A product team, with proven deal execution experience. Strong technical expertise in financial modelling and valuation techniques, with proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or similar platforms. Fluent in Mandarin and English; Cantonese proficiency is a strong advantage for local client interaction. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts clearly to senior stakeholders. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Bachelor's or Master's degree from a top-tier university in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; CFA or CPA is a plus.
