Responsible for developing, formulation and implementation of new sales strategies and initiatives to improve the profitability and business relationship in existing card merchant portfolios, and ensuring the professional services are performed in optimal effectiveness and productivity as well as fully compliance with the Bank’s and authority’s regulations. Position Summary Responsible for developing, formulation and implementation of new sales strategies and initiatives to improve the profitability and business relationship in existing card merchant portfolios, and ensuring the professional services are performed in optimal effectiveness and productivity as well as fully compliance with the Bank’s and authority’s regulations. Responsibilities Achieve the business targets and objectives through planning, formulation and implementation of new sales strategies and initiatives Collect and analyze market intelligence with appropriate recommendations to products or services enhancement Build comprehensive business relationship with merchants and corporates by cross selling other services and products in the Bank Assist in preparing annual operation plan and ensure its deliverable Perform high quality services to merchants and corporate and adhering to standard operation procedures as well as comply with related guidelines Handle ad-hoc projects assigned by the Department and Division as needed. Requirements University graduate in Business Administration, Banking and Finance or related discipline, or other related qualifications Preferably over 5 years with solid experience in merchant acquiring business Relevant HKIB qualification would be an advantage Capable of driving projects independently and under pressure Strong data analysis skills with the ability to make sound business decisions A good team player with effective communication skills Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese Incorporated in Hong Kong in 1918, The Bank of East Asia, Limited ("BEA") is dedicated to providing comprehensive wholesale banking, personal banking, wealth management, and investment services to its customers in Hong Kong, the Chinese Mainland, and other major markets around the world.
