Overview Part-Time Research Associate/ Postdoc (Psychology of Sports, Exercise, and Health) (A&SS) - (25002LX) at Hong Kong Metropolitan University. Join to apply for the Part-Time Research Associate/ Postdoc (Psychology of Sports, Exercise, and Health) (A&SS) - (25002LX) role at Hong Kong Metropolitan University. Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will assist the Prof. Derwin Chan in the research projects related to physical activity, health psychology, and health education. The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: Conducting questionnaire survey and interviews; Data entry and/or transcribing interview data; Providing support in literature review and data analysis; Writing academic reports; and Assisting the Principal Investigator and Co-investigators to prepare experiments. Qualifications, Experience and Competence A recognised PhD or Doctoral degree in psychology, social sciences, sports sciences, or health related subjects; Experience in carrying out systematic review, meta-analysis, and delphi study; Competence in computer skills (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and other data analytical software); Detail-oriented, responsible, and self-motivated; A high level of English and Chinese proficiency and effective communication and organisation skills; and Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet multiple deadlines. Candidates who have experience in academic writing and publishing scientific papers are highly suitable for the position. Terms and Conditions for Appointment Successful candidate will be appointed on a part-time contract. He/she will work for the period between Jan 2026 and Dec 2026.
