Vice President, Loan Syndication

Responsibilities Work closely with peer banks and relationship managers to solicit syndicated loan business. Prepare syndicated loans market comparison table and relevant market information to facilitate recommendations on financing terms in order to explore the syndicated loan business and execute a successful syndication. Arrange and conduct bank visitation in order to build and maintain decent relationship with peer banks in syndicated loan markets. Understand and update/monitor the peer banks’ credit appetites for syndication loan. Prepare market analysis as well as participating and/or underwriting risk (if any) commentary on the structure and pricing to relationship managers and credit approving team. Assist in managing the bank’s loan portfolio via loan purchases and sales in the secondary market. Requirements University graduate, preferably major in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or Economics Minimum 5 years solid experience in handling loan syndication Experience required in developing private banking and cross-border banking products will be an advantage Familiar with and constant update of the trends and development of syndicated loan in the Asia Pacific region Keep abreast of secondary loan market liquidity, trend and appetite Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English, Cantonese and Putonghua Good interpersonal skills and a team player High level of customer centricity mindset with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services for customers Benefits 5-day week Discretionary bonus Birthday leave Marriage leave Extra maternity leave Extra Paternity Leave Examination leave Insurance plan Medical plan Family medical plan We offer competitive remuneration package and promising career opportunities to the successful candidates.
