Director/Vice President, Institutional Equity Sales ICBC International Holdings Limited ("ICBC International") is a wholly-owned subsidiary of ICBC in Hong Kong. As a Hong Kong incorporated and based company, it leverages the premier brand, strong capital base, extensive clients’ base and advanced financial products. It is exposed to capital markets and provides financing clients with services in four product lines: corporate financing, investment business, sales & trading and asset management. ICBC International also offers market research services covering global macro economy, international financial markets, environmental protection, medical care and other hot industries. Responsibilities Assist the team in selling primary market, private equity and secondary market stocks and other products, and make contributions to sales promotion transactions. Provide research and sales services for overseas institutional clients such as public equity, private equity and insurance. Maintain existing customers and strive to expand new institutional customers (domestic and overseas). Work closely with research teams to provide customers with timely and accurate market research and recommendations. Provide customers with timely and effective services and meet their research and other needs in a timely manner, so as to maintain a healthy, stable and cooperative relationship. Actively organize road shows, company surveys, client meetings and other corresponding activities to help client fund managers and research teams better understand the industry, and help companies and management make effective investment decisions on this basis. Help other teams in the department to establish customer relationships, including network building for fixed income and corporate and high-net-worth customers. Comply with any internal and external regulations and company’s policies and procedures. Requirements At least 7 years of experience in investment banking, institutional sales or other relevant experience, with a proven track record in managing sovereign customers. Bachelor degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Marketing or other relevant majors. Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Solid financial modelling and valuation skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills – ability to form effective working relationships. Proactive in taking responsibilities and be able to multi-task. Passionate and motivated to contribute to the investment banking field. Fluent in English and Mandarin (written and spoken); exceptional verbal and written communication skills; native Mandarin proficiency preferred.
