Our client, belongs to an overseas listed company, is one of the major players within their highly competitive industry. To cope with the continuous growth of their business, their Hong Kong office is now seeking for a seasoned finance professional to be part of their team. Based in Hong Kong and reporting directly to the Regional CFO, the selected candidate will lead a small team in handling all accounting & finance activities for their Hong Kong operation. He/she will recommend measures to improve financial performance; enhance controls and operation efficiency. This position has great exposure to and works closely with the company’s senior management team. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily finance and accounting operations and be responsible for statutory reporting, taxes/payroll, and compliance with Group policies. Be a strong business partner to the Country Manager and business team leaders, provide timely input and advice on client portfolios, selling prices, and project margin. Make an impact on senior management to drive data accuracy in systems, the efficiency of financial workflow, and compliance with Group policies. In charge of the whole financial reporting process, month-end closing, quarterly forecasts, and the annual budget to ensure timely submission of business results to headquarters in a professional manner. Monitor the cash flow for treasury management, as well as invoicing and account receivable cycles for cash maximization. Work with the IT team for the implementation of accounting and finance-related systems. Oversee all corporate governance, compliance and statutory requirements of the country operation. Play an integral role in developing strategies, reviewing business performance and assessing opportunities which will support the company in continued expansion. Handle other ad-hoc assignments as assigned. Qualifications University graduate in Finance, Business or other related disciplines. Qualified Accountant with Big4 training and over 10 years of experience in financial controllership, including financial planning and analysis (FP&A), ideally within multinational corporations. Previous experience in the service sector is a valuable asset for this position. Proficient in various financial systems for accounting, project management, and group reporting. Strong business insight with a passion for collaborating with multifunctional teams. Detail-oriented and hands-on, with excellent analytical and time management capabilities. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that enhance effectiveness across all organizational levels. Proficiency in both written and spoken English. Capable of thriving in dynamic and fast paced environments.
