Job Description Supplier Quality Engineer – Shatin, Asia Quality Hub Location: Shatin - Asia Quality Hub Industry: Electro-Mechanical Manufacturing Focus: Supplier quality management Company Overview Member of a leading European multinational corporation specializing in R&D and manufacturing of advanced electro-mechanical products. Product portfolio includes wire harnesses, solenoid valves, precision machined components, engineered textiles, and more. Manufacturing facilities across China and Southeast Asia; R&D in Japan; sales offices in the United States. Products serve global markets including North America, Europe, and Asia. End products range from handheld gardening power equipment (brush cutters, pruning shears, lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, sprayers, high-pressure cleaners) to power tools, textiles, stamped components, and plastic molded parts. Position Summary Primary liaison for supplier quality matters, leading initiatives in supplier risk management, evaluation, and development. Oversee OEM and ODM suppliers, focusing on electronics and assembly processes for complete products and sub-assemblies. Ensure supplier performance, product quality, process integrity, and sustainability standards are consistently met. Be part of a dedicated Quality Team of five professionals, collaborating to uphold and advance global quality standards. Key Responsibilities Conduct supplier audits including approval, re-qualification, and manufacturing process assessments Review specifications and lead APQP, PAP, and risk assessments Support negotiation and finalization of quality agreements Advise on supplier classification and quality strategy execution Drive supplier development through escalation protocols and process improvement Coordinate supplier onboarding and process evaluations Lead or support defect management and sustainability initiatives Ensure compliance with agreed processing parameters Manage shipment approvals and supplier potential analysis Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned by management Ideal Candidates 5+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing or OEM/ODM environments Hands-on experience with mechanical and electronic components, gasoline engines, PCB assembly, and plastics Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills Proficiency in English (spoken and written); Mandarin Chinese is an advantage Skilled in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Power BI; SAP experience is a plus Willingness to travel across ASEAN and Mainland China What We Offer Multinational corporate environment 13-month salary plus discretionary bonus Comprehensive medical, dental, and travel insurance Training opportunities at our European headquarters Five-day work week; flexible working hours 12 days of annual leave Work-from-home scheme How to Apply Please attach your CV with salary expectations to JPC Recruiting Services was established in 1990.
