Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and define project goals, scope, key deliverables, and risks Oversee project status and manage changes to scope baseline. Implement and control changes to project plan and scope Develop an integrated plan that encompasses all subsidiary plans (scope, schedule, cost, resource, communications, risk, procurement, stakeholder engagement) Break down deliverables into logical work packages and define detailed activity plans Construct the project schedule and identify the critical path. Monitor the status of project activities to update project progress and manage changes to the schedule baseline Estimate costs, set and monitor budgets, and manage financial baselines throughout the project lifecycle Develop effective communication strategies to keep stakeholders informed and aligned Identify and plan hardware and services that need to be procured Conduct risk management activities for the project. Identify, analyse (qualitative and quantitative), and plan responses to risks (opportunities and threats). Continuously monitor identified risks, identify new risks, evaluate risk process effectiveness, and implement risk response plans Track, review, and report progress, ensuring alignment with business objectives Your team You'll be working as part of a high-performing PMO team, delivering IT projects across the banking and finance sector. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement initiatives that drive infrastructure transformation and operational efficiency. Your expertise 3-5+ years of experience managing end-to-end IT projects in the banking and finance industry Practical knowledge of the five core project management process groups: Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring & Controlling, and Closing Proven experience leading and delivering projects of varying size and complexity across diverse teams while familiar with different project management methodologies and best practices Experience in managing stakeholders, resolving conflicts, and maintaining strong working relationships A sharp analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems proactively Strong time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines, adapt to shifting project requirements and the ability to re-strategize accordingly Negotiation and facilitation skills for managing vendors, team dynamics, and stakeholder expectations Verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin is a must About us UBS is the world's largest and the only truly global wealth manager.
