Key Responsibilities Program Creation & Facilitation: Develop and deliver engaging workshops for secondary school students, focusing on topics like career exploration, interview skills, goal setting, entrepreneurship, and personal growth. Student Mentorship: Offer group or individual guidance to help students identify their strengths, passions, and values, linking these to academic and professional pathways. Resource Development: Create dynamic learning materials and keep content updated with current trends in Hong Kong’s education and job markets. Progress Monitoring: Use evaluation tools and gather feedback to track student development and ensure impactful workshop outcomes. Industry Awareness: Stay updated on educational pathways, DSE subject choices, and emerging industries to provide relevant and practical advice to students. Inclusive Environment: Cultivate a supportive, welcoming, and inspiring atmosphere where students feel confident to explore and express themselves. Team Collaboration: Partner with school staff, teachers, industry professionals, and the 12Career team to ensure seamless program execution and comprehensive support. Requirements Experience with Youth: At least 2 years of experience engaging with secondary students or young people through teaching, facilitation, training, or counseling. Facilitation Expertise: Skilled in leading workshops and public speaking, with the ability to encourage student participation and manage group interactions effectively. Knowledge Base: Well‑versed in youth development, career planning frameworks, and Hong Kong’s education and career landscape. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication in English and/or Chinese, with the ability to connect with students and educators. Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, Human Resources, or a related discipline. Certifications (Preferred): Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF), International Coaching Federation (ICF) ACC, or similar qualifications.
