Venture Capital Investment Vice President This role will lead deal origination, leveraging networks, market insights, and proactive outreach to source high‑potential investment opportunities. This role demands exceptional relationship‑building skills and the ability to convert pipeline into actionable investments. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a proactive sourcing strategy aligned with the firm’s investment thesis. Build and maintain deep relationships with founders, accelerators, incubators, venture networks, and industry influencers. Identify emerging trends and sectors for early‑stage and growth investments. Represent the firm at industry events, pitch days, and conferences to enhance visibility and pipeline. Screen inbound and sourced opportunities for strategic fit and growth potential. Lead preliminary due diligence and coordinate with internal teams for deeper analysis. Prepare investment memos and present recommendations to the Investment Committee. Provide strategic introductions and networking opportunities for portfolio companies. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field 7+ years in venture capital, investment banking, or startup ecosystem roles with a proven sourcing track record in the technology sector. Candidates with less experience but strong sourcing capabilities, deep tech ecosystem knowledge, and demonstrated ability to originate deals will be considered for an Associate role. Demonstrated ability to originate and close deals in APAC markets. Exceptional networking and relationship‑building skills. Ability to manage multiple sourcing channels and prioritize high‑quality opportunities. Highly proactive and entrepreneurial mindset. Excellent communication skills in Mandarin and English.
