校工Janitor - King George V School role at English Schools Foundation King George V School is looking for a Janitor on a full-time basis. This is a permanent full-time position with annual leave and medical coverage benefits. Responsibilities Carrying out cleaning tasks, include washing, hoovering, cleaning toilets etc. Conduct minor repair and maintenance work. Conduct waste disposal in accordance with the environmentally responsible policies of the school. Move school furniture, equipment and heavy objects etc to assist with venue setup for major events e.g. Exams, School Assemblies, Parent’s Evenings, Concerts, School Performances, School Fair, etc. Use the correct equipment and comply with health and safety regulations to operate with safe working practices and act as an immediate point of contact to assist Teaching and Support staff to maintain a safe and hygienic learning environment. Advise and direct students when required to sustain a safe, clean School. Other duties as arranged by supervisor. Qualifications / Requirements Possess team spirit, trustworthiness and pride in working standards Good Cantonese to work with Janitor team and contractors. Elementary English to interact with staff and students Self-motivated, willing to work hard and sustain a positive attitude Attentive to details and diligent in carrying out tasks according to instructions Prepared to work flexible hours for School events Working Hours & Benefits Monday to Friday 8:00-17:30 15 days annual leave, medical & dental benefit, public holidays Application All interested candidates please call Ms Kan at or Mr Lee at Applicants must be a permanent Hong Kong resident or already possess a valid visa to work in Hong Kong.
