Cybersecurity Specialist

We are seeking a motivated Senior Cybersecurity Specialist with a minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience in the security field. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, independent problem‑solver responsible for handling advanced threats, performing comprehensive security/risk assessments and supporting critical security projects. Key Responsibilities Utilise various technological devices such as EDR/XDR, vulnerability management, firewall, web proxy, load‑balancer, and endpoint security logs for threat hunting, malware analysis, and response actions. Leverage NDR tools to identify anomalous network behaviour and internal threats. Conduct security assessment and gap analysis according to the Code of Practice for the Protection of Critical Infrastructures (Computer Systems) Ordinance, ISO27001 and PCI‑DSS. Conduct risk assessment reviews of new and existing systems, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending effective mitigation strategies. Provide expert security support and guidance for ongoing IT and business projects, ensuring security requirements are integrated from the start (Security by Design). Develop and maintain documentation for security standards, procedures and runbooks. Qualifications and Experience Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Cyber Security Analyst. Understanding of the Code of Practice for the Protection of Critical Infrastructures (Computer Systems) Ordinance. Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISA, ISO27001, PCI‑DSS. Knowledge of cloud security concepts and monitoring (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus. Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and drive tasks to completion with minimal supervision.
